The PP30 represents a huge redesign of our standard Power Pallet. We gave up on the 3.0 liter GM Iron Duke we had used in all our 20 kW units in favor of an Ashok-Leyland 3.9 liter natural gas engine based on an diesel industrial engine. We also changed from the Mecc Alte pancake to a more efficient Marathon genhead, resulting in a 50% increase in nominal output from 20 to 30 kW. We also developed a more versatile split-skid design adding a soundproof enclosure on the engine/genset side resulting in a 10 fold reduction in the noise created. For the first time we included both our 2-stage CHP system as well as a Deep-Sea 8610 grid-tie controller as standard equipment. The PP30 represented a very significant and successful improvement with a much more mature configuration.
